4 Moving!
Well, it looks as though "DP" is relocating. Tripod is having issues with Windows Vista (which happens to be my new operating system) and I'm not able to view this site at all. Oh sure, I'm able to *edit* it, but not view it, so. No one is able to help me, and I've been trying for weeks to get this straightened out. There's no way I could keep updating without being able to see a darn thing I'm doing, so I'll be moving to a different location in the upcoming months. (I really don't know how long it's going to take.) Hopefully, the new location will be ad-free too, like I promised, so it'll still be exciting. I'm working on the new layout as we speak, so it'll be like a whole new experience, with any luck.

In the meantime, I'll be posting all my Melina news and such on the DPMB, as I have been doing for the last few weeks. It's looking quite scarce at the moment. So, you lurkers get to posting! I know the writer's strike hasn't left us much to talk about, but the show will be back on April 2nd!

You can get ahold of me there, and probably the next time I update this site will be to tell you where I've moved to. Sorry that this is my only option. I tried so hard to stay. You've all been so great to me.

4 Something worth looking forward to
Again, I apologize for not being around. The 4th season hasn't felt the same without me updating every week. But I just haven't felt up to it, and I'm sure you're getting the majority of your Melina news elsewhere for the moment. These past several months have been kind of rough on not just me, but my whole family.

But a little good news is I should be upgrading this site very soon. I now have a way to. So, you can look forward to a new layout which will be AD-FREE. (*gasp!*) With loads of new additions to the gallery, and I'm gonna try my best to bring the audio clips back -- if not, just a featured "clip of the moment" 'cause I know some of you have been missing the audio clips. I'm hoping I can make up all this lost time to you when I get the new version up and running. You just gotta hang with me.

And while I'm here, I should go ahead and tell you that the DPMB (Divine Providence Message Board) now has a new home at Yuku.com. If you have been a member before, there's no need to register again; your old log-in information is still the same. They migrated all our settings, member information, and posts over to their new server. You can even host your avatar/icon on the board itself. Simply log in with your previous username and password and get to posting.

4 Happy 5th Birthday, DP!
Divine Providence celebrates its 5th birthday today! Wish I had a birthday layout to put up now, but sadly, I don't. But I have been working on one, and it shouldn't be too much longer, I hope. Who knows?

I apologize for my absence these last few months and all the Melina info I missed reporting to you guys. And I'm sorry to say I'm not sure when exactly I'll be back regularly updating. I've had some medical news to deal with and needed/still need some time, but I couldn't miss my 5th birthday here. I've worked too long and put in so much effort not to celebrate it.

CSI:NY's 4th season will kick off on September 26th at 10/9c on CBS with episode #401 "Can You Hear Me Now?"

I guess I'll see you when I see you.

A new photoshoot has turned up of Melina. You can view the various new pics on this page at the DPMB. A huge thanks to our newest member Marousj for posting them for us. Go check them out! They're absolutely beautiful.

Also, Melina has turned up on the list of presenters for the 2007 Tony Awards which will be held on June 10th (Sunday). The television broadcast will be aired from 8-11pm eastern/7-10pm central live on CBS.

Melina's older daughter Zoe turns 7 years old today! Happy Birthday! :D

The first NY re-run of the summer will be #313 "Obsession" tonight on CBS, and right after that, catch #224 "Charge of This Post" on SpikeTV.

And, a happy belated birthday to Melina's CSI:NY co-star Anna Belknap. :D

I apologize again for not being able to update as often as I should. But I'm here now to let you know (if you don't already) that tomorrow's NY is the season 3 finale #324 "Snow Day." Do not miss it! 10pm/9c on CBS.

This has been such a great season. Hope the cast enjoys their hiatus. Can't wait 'til season 4!

Don't miss #322 "Cold Reveal" tonight, a cross-over with CBS' "Cold Case." Stella's DNA is found in relation to a Philadelphia cold case. 10pm/9c on CBS.

"Into The Fire" is scheduled to be released on DVD tomorrow, April 3rd!

Wednesday's NY re-run has been changed to #312 "Silent Night" since 'Criminal Minds' is set to play their re-run episode with a shockingly similar storyline to "Raising Shane" right before. So. New episode next week though!

Melina is scheduled to be on Wednesday's (3/28) episode of Rachael Ray! It's syndicated, so check your local listings for times and channels. According to the video preview on Rachael Ray Show.com, she'll have sit-down interview and will be cooking some Greek food with the tv chef. Don't miss it!

This week's NY is another re-run, #309 "And Here's To You, Mrs. Azrael."

4 UN-scheduled for The View, a new NY, and event pics
I posted at the DPMB that Melina was scheduled to be on The View this Tuesday, but it seems she's been removed from their guestlist. Sorry.

But, you can see her in a new CSI:NY episode, #319 "A Daze of Wine And Roaches," on Wednesday night.

And there are a few new pictures posted in the Melina forum of her attending a couple of events, Avon's National Women's Day summit and John Varvatos' 5th Annual Stuart House benefit. Go check them out.

4 ITF on DVD 4/3!
Melina's independent film "Into The Fire" will be released on widescreen DVD April 3rd. It's available for pre-order at Amazon now. [But Best Buy has the better price. ;)] No mention of extras.

Random: Have you ever wondered what happened to the pinky on Melina's right hand? (link to pic) People magazine put the mystery to rest. The "Chatter" page asks: "What's the silliest injury you've ever had?" Melina answers: "In second grade, I roller-skated over my pinky. It's still mutant." :D I was thinking no one would ever ask. Thanks to Carianne for sending the info to me. :)

This week's CSI:NY will be #318 "Sleight Out of Hand," guest-starring "Mindfreak" magician Criss Angel.

Coming up on Wednesday, 'NY' will continue Stella's HIV scare storyline in #317 "The Ride-In."

4 Tonight's NY, Charity, and a Birth...day :)
New CSI:NY episodes start up again tonight with #315 "Some Buried Bones," guest-starring singer Nelly Furtado as a pro shoplifter.

Melina spent Superbowl weekend in Miami and making an appearence at the 5th Annual Cadillac Super Bowl Grand-Prix, where she raced a SuperKart for charity with other celebs. Read more and see two pictures from the event at the DPMB.

And finally, Divine Providence would like to congratulate Melina's 'CSI: New York' co-star Anna Belknap and her husband Eric Siegel on the birth of their daughter on January 14th. No name for the little girl was released.

4 Tomorrow's NY, Charity, and a Birthday
Tomorrow's new CSI:NY is #314 "The Lying Game." I believe it's Anna Belknap's last episode before her maternity leave.

A "My Starbucks" t-shirt signed by Melina is up for auction at Clothes Off Our Back. Proceeds from the shirt will go towards the Children's Defense Fund, Cure Autism Now and the emergency relief efforts in Darfur. Auction ends March 17th. (Thanks to Stellaluna for the link!)

And let's all wish Melina's youngest daughter Karina a Happy 4th Birthday on Thursday! :)
